Azure Database Administrator Associate certificate validates your knowledge on implementing and managing cloud and on-premises relational databases built on top of SQL Server and Azure data services.

You will earn the certification by passing the Administering Relational Databases exam, which as of this write is the DP-300 exam. Please review the skills outline guide.

Azure Site Recovery (ASR) Setup

In the blog, we will be setting up Azure Site Recovery (ASR) for on-premise Hyper-V virtual machines.

First lets create a new resource group.

Now create a Recovery Service vault.

Since no Hyper-V site was found, we need to add one.
Download the Microsoft Azure Site Recovery Provider .exe file and the vault registration key to the Hyper-V host.

Run the Microsoft Azure Recovery Provider .exe file on the Hyper-V host.

Lets go back to the Azure portal and you should see the Hyper-V host connected.
